Patti has been teaching sewing classes, fabric arts, and traditional art to children and adults for over 25 years.

Patti has studied fabric arts at the prestigious Palmer Pletsch School of Sewing in Portland Oregon, as well as several years of study in the arts and education, at San Diego City College and Washington Clark College.

Patti has been an artist all of her life, and has created award winning fabric  sculptures with collectors throughout the United States. She is also well known for her beautiful  painting and murals, one of a kind collage paintings, and memory quilts.

Her ready smile, open heart, and easy way of teaching has won her many fans. She has taught literally hundreds of children and adults how to sew through home economic classes, after school programs, homeschool environments, and art studios. Upon relocating to Surprise, Arizona in the spring of 2008, Patti began offering classes for children and adults, at Joann's fabric store on West Bell Road. in addition to those classes, wonderful private sewing & art classes for children are available through homeschool and recreation center classes throughout the west valley. Some of the statements most often heard from the children and adults after class, is how much they learned and what a great time they had!

While Patti was teaching here, her classes were always full and with waiting lists! Her knowledge, positive teaching style, patience, and great sense of humor made her classes alot of fun!
